The team at James Burrells approached Innovate with a project idea in mind, to develop a large scale commercial depot in the heart of Teesside, with a modern office and sales room, a four acre yard with storage facilities and a warehouse to hold stock. Ofcourse the team here at Innovate was incredibly eager to tender for this project with it being right on our doorstep and giving our business a chance to show our diverse range of construction abilities right here at home. After consideration from the client and numerous meetings, Innovate was selected as the principal contractor for this development and so our work commenced.

Site Remediation and Construction Design Phase Begins...

The project began with site remediation to prepare the land for development. The Innovate team worked diligently to ensure the site was clear of any debris or hazardous materials, ahead of construction works beginning.

Whilst site remediation was underway, we began the design process in collaboration with the client and architects. Together, we worked to create a tailor-made construction plan that would meet the unique requirements from our client. We provided valuable insights and suggestions throughout the design process, ensuring the final plant would result in a high-quality, functional and cost-effective finished product.

Construction Phase

The construction phase was carried out with the utmost attention to detail and final quality, and we were able to complete the project earlier than scheduled and well within agreed budgets. The finished project included a large, modern office building with sales floor, commercial warehouse with storage and a four acre, reinforced concrete, storage yard and parking facilities with each element being designed to meet the specific needs of our client.
